Tone and Strengthen
In the same way that going to the gym improves your physical abilities,
the voice lesson helps you to improve your voice's ability to perform more
difficult music. And in just the same way as working out, a little
over a long period time gives the best results. Regular working of the
voice will result in a strong healthy voice.
Improve agility
Vocal gymnastics may not be in style, but every instrumentalist knows
that there is no substitute for practicing difficult passages.
Breaking down the difficult passages into their parts and practicing them
makes them much easier.
Express yourself with your voice
The more control you can establish over your voice, the more you can
express yourself. When you can sing the difficult passages with ease
and grace, then you can help the audience to appreciate the music in your
way.
